The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has a number of casino sites, including one in Point Edward. This casino has been open for ten years and has continued to bring goods to the village of Point Edward. In celebrating its tenth anniversary then, the OLG representative represented by Larry Flynn, senior vice president of the company, said the collaboration with the village has been a success. The casino games have helped the village of Point Edward to benefit from more than 25.5 million dollars since its existence.

This establishment provided 477 jobs to the inhabitants of the village and its surroundings, which partly explains the reduction of the unemployment rate. It has also served 8.5 million people with entertainment and fun with its gaming tables and 481 slot machines. It should be noted that the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, led by General Manager Dan Gall, was founded in 1975 and provided $ 8.5 million to the province.
